Leashed, registered dogs are allowed on the beach at any time from the day after Labor Day to May 1. From May 2 to Labor Day they are allowed only from 6:00 PM until 8:00 AM. Droppings must be picked up and removed from the beach, and dogs and people are prohibited from any nesting bird areas marked by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
