Pets are barred from the bathing and swimming beach itself. Leashed pets are allowed in other, non-excluded parts of the park such as the campground and trails.
The beach is not a restaurant, lodge or sanctioned special event area, so drinking alcohol there is not allowed under the statewide state park rule.
No open beach bonfires; fires are confined to designated fireplaces or grills, such as the fire rings at campsites.
The park has no guest-accessible designated landing facility, so takeoff and landing anywhere in the park, including the beach, is not permitted outside a life-threatening emergency.
Fishing is allowed in park waters by legal methods, subject to standard Florida license and season rules.
