Dogs are banned year round, at every hour, from Fletcher Cove and Seascape Surf and their beach accesses. Leashed dogs are allowed year round on the two outer stretches: north of the Tide Beach Park stairway up to Cardiff State Beach, and south of the Del Mar Shores stairway down to Del Mar. The leash may be no longer than six feet, and there are no off leash areas anywhere in Solana Beach.
Alcohol is banned on city beaches and the public places next to them, including parking lots, viewpoints and the Community Center.
Fires are allowed 8am to 10pm only, and only inside a fire ring, barbecue, hibachi or other container built for the purpose. A fire directly on the sand or in a dug pit is prohibited, pallets may not be burned, and it must be fully put out with water.
Glass is not allowed on Solana Beach city beaches.
Smoking is banned at every beach and park in Solana Beach.
