Open bonfires on the sand are not allowed. A fire is only legal in a propane grill or a county-provided grill, fireplace or barbecue pit.
Overnight camping on the beach itself is not allowed. It is confined to Turtle Beach Campground or wherever else the county issues a camping permit.
Glass containers of any kind are banned on the beach.
Smoking is banned on all county-owned beaches, with unfiltered cigars as the one exception.
Fishing is allowed on the beach, except inside the buoy-marked swim area.
