DogsNot allowed

Pets are excluded from all swimming areas and beaches in the city. The one dog-friendly sand is a separate bayside dog run at the end of Pass-a-Grille Way, not the Gulf beach itself.

AlcoholNot allowed

Drinking or carrying an open container on the public beach is unlawful, with an exception only for a permitted hotel cabana area or a city special event permit.

Fires & grillsDepends, with a permit

A beach fire requires a paid city permit approved by the city manager or city commission, and none are issued from May 1 through October 31 during sea turtle nesting season.
