Pets are not allowed on the beach, along the shoreline, in picnic shelters or in the restrooms. Leashed pets are allowed elsewhere in the park, such as the campground.
Alcohol is barred park-wide except at an on-site restaurant or lodge concession, or a permitted special event; Long Key has neither, so an ordinary visitor cannot legally drink here.
Fires are confined to areas the park specifically designates for them, not the open beach.
Camping is hike-in, tent-only, and confined to the park's designated primitive campsites, not the swim beach.
The park bars any aerial apparatus from taking off or landing on park property, which the Florida Park Service applies to drones; the park has no designated public landing facility.
Fishing is confined to areas the park designates for it, and a Florida fishing license may be required.
