Pets, other than certified assistance animals, are banned from all Town parks, public beaches and beach accesses. Leashed dogs are allowed only at a few inland parks, not the beach itself.
Possessing an unsealed or open alcoholic beverage on the public beach is banned.
Open fires are banned, with the only exception being cooking fires contained inside a grill or stove appliance.
Setting up a tent or other temporary shelter for overnight camping is banned. The code does not separately address daytime beach shade tents that are not used for camping.
The code's litter rule bans throwing or depositing bottles on Town property outside a designated refuse container.
Smoking is banned at public beaches, beach and bay accesses and public parks, except for unfiltered cigars.
Fishing and cast nets thrown from the shore are explicitly carved out of the town's general wildlife protection ban.
