Smoking on the public beach is banned, with a narrow exception for unfiltered cigars.
Fishing and surf casting are banned Monday through Friday 9am to 4pm, and weekends and national holidays 9am to 6pm, allowed outside those hours away from swimmers. Spearfishing and chumming are banned outright at any time.
