From Memorial Day to Labor Day dogs are permitted on the beach only before 9am and after 6pm. Service dogs aiding a person with a disability are exempt. A dog must be restrained anywhere in town other than its owner's own property, so a leash is required on the beach.
Tents and other personal items may be used during the day but must be removed from the beach each night. Leaving items out overnight is prohibited.
