Dogs are banned on Hollywood Beach except at the fenced Hollywood Dog Beach between Pershing and Custer Streets, where a leash or reliable voice command is required.
Drinking or carrying an open container of alcohol is banned on the beach and Broadwalk at all times, aside from a city-approved special event or a licensed sidewalk cafe.
Building or maintaining a fire is banned on the beach unless the Fire Chief approves that specific location on a case by case basis.
Open-sided canopies up to 10 feet across are allowed only in a specific strip of the sandy beach, spaced apart and away from dunes. Fully enclosed tents are not addressed.
Glass containers for any beverage are banned on the beach and Broadwalk at all times.
Smoking cigarettes, cigars, pipes or any other lit tobacco product is banned on the beach.
Surf fishing is allowed only overnight, 6pm to 9am. Spearfishing is separately banned within 100 yards of the beach at all times.
