Connecticut DEEP lists pets on the beach at Hammonasset Beach State Park from September 30 to April 1. Pets on a leash are allowed in the picnic areas year-round.
Daytime fishing (8 a.m. to sunset) is permitted at the Meigs Point Jetty at the south end and at the West Beach Jetty. Night fishing is permitted along the entire beach, in peak season only.
