From May 1 through September 30 dogs are not allowed on the beach between 10am and 6pm. At every other time they are allowed but must be leashed and under control. No pets on the Folly Beach pier at any time.
Possessing or drinking alcohol on Folly Beach is prohibited at all times.
Open fires and fireworks are prohibited on the beach at all times.
Tents and canopies may be used during the day but must be off the beach by sunset. Anything left after sunset is treated as abandoned and may be removed by the city.
Glass is not allowed on the beach at any time.
Smoking is prohibited on the beach and on the beach access paths.
