Honeymoon Island and Caladesi Island are two separate state parks with different dog rules. Honeymoon allows leashed dogs only on a designated pet beach on the island's south end. Caladesi bans dogs from its beach entirely and does not allow them on the ferry over. Confirm which island you are on before bringing a dog.
Alcohol is not allowed on the beach or in other public day use areas at either park.
Fires are only allowed where the park specifically designates and posts them. Neither park's beach lists grills or fire rings among its amenities.
State parks bar aircraft, including drones, from taking off or landing anywhere in the park except in an emergency or at a designated landing facility, and neither park has one.
Surf and pass fishing is allowed at both parks, but only within areas the park designates for it.
As coastal parks, metal detecting is allowed only on the beach strip between the dune toe and the high water line, never in the water.
