Dogs are allowed only in the designated dog beach area, between 4th Street South and the north side of Robert P. Murkshe Park. Dogs must be on a leash of no more than 10 feet, and owners must clean up after them. Dog beach hours are 6 to 10 AM and 4 to 7 PM during Standard Time, and 6 to 10 AM and 5 to 9 PM during Daylight Saving Time.
Beach fires are not allowed, and beach fire permits are currently unavailable. Fireworks are also prohibited on the beach.
Umbrellas, canopies and shade tents are allowed up to 10 feet by 10 feet. Keep them away from dune lines, turtle nest zones and pathways, and remove them before you leave the beach.
Glass containers are not allowed on the beach.
Surf fishing is allowed on the beach if you follow Florida fishing regulations, keep fishing areas safe for swimmers and dispose of fishing line and equipment properly.
