From May 1 through September 30 dogs may be off leash under voice control from 5am to 10am, are not permitted on the beach at all from 10am to 6pm, and must be leashed from 6pm to 5am. From October 1 through April 30 they may be off leash from 5am to noon and must be leashed from noon to 5am. Every dog, a visitor's included, needs a current Town licence and tag. Fires are limited to Station 22, 23 or 25, may be no more than 3 feet across and 3 feet high, must be at least 100 feet from the dunes or a turtle nesting area, may never be left unattended, and must end by 11pm.
