The Boardwalk Restaurant inside the park is a solid full-service option. Go off-peak to avoid the lunch rush.
Point Lookout is a short drive east and has the best local clam bar scene near the park.
Arrive with a cooler and snacks if you're staying all day -- the lines at concession stands peak noon to 2 PM.
